Change of operator at Tring Service Station

As many of you will already know, the Total petrol station in Tring has been looking rather depleted in recent weeks.
In 2011, Rontec Investments LLP was founded to acquire the assets of Total UK and is a consortium of companies comprising Snax 24, Investec and Grovepoint Capital and under this acquisition, 250 of 810 sites have been sold to Shell. As part of this sale, a management agreement was put in place for Rontec to manage the sites until they transfer to Shell. This is currently taking place over a phased period.
Despite signs put up by staff, there are no immediate plans for Tring Service Station to transfer to Shell, it will continue to be managed by Rontec for the foreseeable future and a new manager is being put in place early next week. The site will continue to operate as normal.

ReportSo, so complicated these take over deals The only thing I am interested in is a realistic price for fuel.
For far too long Tring residents have been ripped off by sky high prices under Total. Now being the only petrol station in Tring, let us have some fair and comparable prices and not exploitation. Never understood why for example the same chain, Total, in Berkhamsted has been some 2p cheaper on diesel than Tring.
