Aron Sharma, owner of The Espresso Lounge in Tring High Street is back in the saddle to start training for his next challenge less than two months after running and cycling a total of 440 miles to and from work for Movember last year.

In mid-January Aron heard about 'Niamh's Next Step' – a charitable campaign to help a little girl who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Niamh was diagnosed just before Christmas 2010 when she was just three years old and has since undergone many types of hospital treatment including chemotherapy, stem cell transplant and radiotherapy. Her family are now trying to raise £450,000 to get their little girl the life-saving treatment she needs in the United States.

After hearing of the Northampton family's pledge, the 32-year old coffee shop owner decided he will cycle from Dumfries in Scotland back to Tring in 48 hours. The route has involved some serious planning, but Aron has had an overwhelming response from people offering advice and helping him with the challenge.

Aron's journey starts on 15th April and he hopes to be in Birmingham by the end of Day 1. Day 2 will see him coming back through Warwick, Bicester, Aylesbury and finally back to Tring on 17th April for a well-deserved coffee and one of Clare's lovely homemade cakes no doubt!

We wish Aron the very best of luck with his challenge. If you can help Aron with his challenge in any way at all, please let him or Tring People know.
