Wild weather across Tring has brought down a large horse chestnut tree on Station Road, just as you enter the 30mph zone at Tring Station.

A fallen horse chestnut tree has blocked Station Road in Tring
At present, the tree is completely blocking the road for both motorists and pedestrians.
Flash flooding further along Station Road, and in Beggars Lane for people circumnavigating the blockage are being faced with huge puddles only allowing for one car to pass at a time.

Comments
We spoke to Herts Highways this evening who said a local tree surgeon had been called to clear it for the morning, so it should be clear but approach with caution - the signs aren't visible until you're right on top of it and difficult to turn around.

ReportDoes anyone know if this has been cleared yet? It will be a nightmare for commuters in the morning if it hasn't been cleared!
