    I think it is a tragedy that Tring only has a sprinkling of bunting and flags.  After all the Council had long enough and help from Dacorum to decorate the town.  A bench is useful but the Queen deserves better! The Council should be ashamed. Cclr Olive Conway

    Over the coming bank holiday weekend, friends of Tring Memorial Garden and any other willing volunteers will be planting hundreds of perennials to brighten up the garden. The voluntary group was set up in March by Dacorum Borough Council to keep the gardens looking their best since the refurbishment last year.     The Mayor of Tring for 2012-13, Councillor Nick Hollinghurst, has been officially sworn in at Tring Town Council's annual meeting. Nick is an active campaigner and supporter in many local issues including the part night street lighting in Tring and the Moor End Road bus lane fiasco.
