Champneys: a surprisngly affordable treat!
I couldn't agree more with JulieGK, Champneys is a superb place, it's a cocoon of luxury and heavenly treatments, you really do fall into a different world when you arrive. They have fantastic offers on a regular basis so is often more affordable than you might think. I was a little worried that the standard rooms would be a bit 'Travel Inn' but they were absolutely fine, maybe a little tired, but perfectly enjoyable and comfortable which is the main thing! Food was amazing, breakfast is very healthy (with naughtier hot options available at extra cost), lunch is a buffet style but fantastic selection of soup, salad items and hot options such as fish pie. Dinner was exquisite, one of the best meals I've had in any posh restaurants, but healthy portions and healthy options are definitely the focus. If you can, it's definitely one of those things on the list to do before you die!

Champneys in Tring is my faavourite place in the world!
Champneys in Tring is the perfect place to head if you want to relax and forget about the world outside. From the moment you arrive and change into your fluffy dressing gown you can't help but relax.
I have stayed here on numerous occasions and also gone along for the day spa. Everyone is really friendly and helpful and the therapists are brilliant. They have some lovely treatments that really leave you glowing!
The gym and classes are also good too, I even saw the boxer Frank Bruno in the gym!
I always check out www.champneys.com for promotions and offers before booking as they often have some great deals, such as take a friend for free.
Don't worry about having to eat like a rabbit, the food is superb and you certainly won't starve!
