    Burlgars assaulted a man in a Tring shop with a sledgehammer before escaping empty handed. Detectives are appealing for information following the aggravated burglary in Tring last week.     The Old Diary Garage, in Icknield Way, Tring, has kindly agreed to provide the marking service free of charge from Monday, January 7.
    Hertfordshire police are working with a Tring garage to offer drivers of diesel light commercial vehicles free catalytic converter marking. The theft of catalytic converters has been one type of crime that has been rising, due to the high price of metal in recent years.
